Family Places N1m Ransome on Gay Lover
By Lanre Olaleye
A N1m ransome has been placed on a gay lover who has been on the run following the death of his partner. The gay lover, Godgrant Agene was involved in a same sex amorous relationship with his partner, Akeem Ademola against the counsel of the latter's family.
According to investigation, about seven years ago, Ademola's family had kicked against the amorous relationship between Akeem and Agene because it is against the Islamic injunction even as the Nigerian society resent it.
But despite warning him to steer clear of Akeem, Agene still continued his love affair with his Yoruba-born lover to the chagrin of some youths in their Agege neighborhood.
Sources revealed that the lovers were, however, placed under watch until they ran out of luck as irate youths stormed their secret hideout on 5th of March 2016 at Victor Oluwole Street, Agege, Lagos.
The gay lovers were reportedly caught having sex in a most bizarre manner. They were both beaten to pulp by the youths for polluting their neighbourhood through their immoral acts.
Sadly, while Agene was lucky to have escaped from the scene, Akeem was not so lucky as he reportedly died from injuries inflicted on him by the irate youths.
Ever since, Akeem's aged mother, Mrs Ajoke Ademola has remained inconsolable. She blamed his son's tragic death on Agene, whom the family believed was the one who led their son to his death.
Speaking with our correspondent, the Late Akeem's elder brother, Saheed Ademola said the only way to console their grieving mother is to bring Agene to justice.
"He can only ran but he cannot hide. The police have been looking for him but we believe he cannot varnish from the surface of the earth and we would stop at nothing to bring him to justice," the elder brother said.
To facilitate Agene's arrest and eventual prosecution, the elder Ademola revealed the family has placed a ransome of N1m on Agene's head for any useful information leading to the arrest of the runaway gay lover.
"We are doing this for our grieving mother whose only wish is to see this man being brought to book." He added.
